Claudine Longet is a French-American singer, actress, dancer, and recording artist popular in the 1960s and 1970s. She was born Claudine Georgette Longet on January 29, 1942, in Paris, France. Longet was married to American singer and television presenter Andy Williams from 1961 to 1975.

Claudine has been married to her husband Ron Austin since June 1, 1985. Longet was previously married to Andy Williams in 1961 and divorced in 1975, they had three children – daughter Noëlle Williams and sons Christian Williams and Bobby Williams. As an adult, Christian Williams moved to Costa Rica and established a teak tree farm. He died in Costa Rica on July 23, 2019.
Longet and Williams met in Las Vegas in 1960 when Longet danced the lead in the revue Folies Bergère at the Tropicana Resort & Casino. She had problems with her car and was pulled over by the side of the road. As he drove by, Williams stopped to offer help.
She was 18 years old and he was 32 years old. Longet was arrested and charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend, Olympic skier Vladimir “Spider” Sabich, at his home in Aspen, Colorado, on March 21, 1976. At her trial, Longet said the gun was accidentally fired when Sabich showed her how it worked.
