The Conservative Party has elected LIZ TRUSS as their new leader and the new prime minister of the United Kingdom.
Ms. Truss has kept her family life largely private, but that is about to change now that she has been announced as the next British Prime Minister.
Who is Liz Truss’s spouse, Hugh O’Leary?
Liz Truss is married to Hugh O’Leary, who is happily at her side and supports all of her political endeavors.
O’Leary is a qualified accountant, as is his wife. However, he also tried to get into politics.
According to The Times, he ran unsuccessfully as a Conservative candidate in the 2002 local elections.

Despite the defeat, he continued to play a role in the party, often campaigning with the Tories in Greenwich.
His age and his birthday are not public, but he is believed to be a similar age to his wife, born in 1975.

She attended the London School of Economics, to which she credits Truss for bringing her husband with her.

The couple met at the 1997 Conservative Party Conference and went on their first date soon after.

The couple has two daughters: Liberty and Frances.

The MP shared a photo of another birthday cake that read “Liberty 10” on November 20, 2018, which would make 2008 her birth year.
