Peacock’s “Sex, Lies and the College Cult” is a chilling documentary that details how Lawrence Ray moved into his daughter’s dormitory at Sarah Lawrence University, started a sex cult, and forced some residents to do whatever he wanted.

Although Ray initially convinced others to join his orbit, he soon resorted to threats, torture, and physical and mental abuse to keep them under his control. In addition, people in his sex cult were brainwashed into believing they had hurt him.

Similarly, Santos Rosario, a student at Sarah Lawrence University, was initially quite impressed with Ray and even introduced him to his sisters, Yalitza and Felicia.

However, this was a serious mistake as the three Rosario siblings were tortured and abused for years until Ray was arrested for sex trafficking and extortion. If you’re intrigued to learn more about the horrific ordeal and want to know where Yalitza and Felicia are now, we’ve got you covered.

Who are Yalitza and Felicia Rosario?

Santos Rosario, a student at Sarah Lawrence University, first met Lawrence Ray while dating his daughter, Talia.

Surprisingly, Ray seemed to impress Santos a lot during their first interactions. Thus, believing him to be a positive influence, Santos introduced Ray to his sisters Felicia and Yalitza Rosario.

Interestingly, at that time, Yalitza was a student at Columbia University and was the same age as Ray’s other victims, while Felicia was an alumnus of Harvard University and Columbia Medical School.

The reports mention that shortly after being introduced to Felicia, Ray embarked on a romantic relationship with her, which quickly became very abusive.

Felicia was forced to live with Ray, her daughter, and her co-conspirator, Isabella Pollok, in a New York apartment where she felt like a prisoner. In addition to not being allowed to go where she wanted to, Ray controlled her every move and even forced her to sleep naked with him and Isabella.

In addition, Felicia was forced to have sex with strangers, and Ray often asked her to extend such a disturbing proposal to men she met in public places. Saying no to Ray was also quite impossible as he would resort to physical and mental torture until Felicia was forced to give in.

In 2013, Felicia was forced to do free physical labor at Ray’s father-in-law’s property in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and Ray often did. torture Felicia’s brother in front of her to force the Harvard alumnus to tow his line. Reports say the torture proved too harsh for Felicia, who even tried to die by suicide.

On the other hand, Ray and his co-conspirators first made Yalitza believe that they were the friends she always deserved, but quickly turned reality into a nightmare. In addition to being mentally abused and feeling unwell, Ray convinced Yalitza that she had destroyed his property and attempted to poison him and his daughter.

Although these allegations were false, Yalitza believed them at the time and desperately sought to make amends to avoid a prison sentence. In addition, she joined the rest of the group at Ray’s father-in-law’s property in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and later mentioned that her time in Pinehurst caused her to attempt suicide to death. Finally, in 2016, she managed to get away from Ray and broke off all contact with him.

After Ray’s arrest in 2020, Felicia and Yalitza, along with their brother, Santos, agreed to testify against their attacker in court. Their testimonies also seemed quite crucial as they guided jurors through their horrific ordeals and helped send Ray to prison.

During her testimony in March 2022, Yalitza mentioned that she was still disturbed by what Ray had done to her and that the trauma prevented her from being productive at work.

Nevertheless, it appears that the sisters are slowly recovering from their dark past as Felicia accepted a senior partner position at Princeton Consultants in July 2022, while Yalitza works as a network operations center engineer at Red Key Solutions. Moreover, while Yalitza resides in Yonkers, New York, Felicia lives in New York City and has apparently surrounded herself with friends and family.
