Chief Executive Officer of Mamaitaly Charity Foundation (Madam Shirley Irene Thompson) honoured at the Humanitarian Awards Global over the weekend at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Saturday 27th August 2022.
The event, which was held at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel was to celebrate individuals who have impacted the lives of people in their field of work in the society and the country as a whole, and to also honor some important personalities impacting lives in the society and country as a whole.
Shee was honoured under the Most Influential Change Makers category for her humanitarian deeds.

The Honorary Award is given to honor distinctive works of service and lifetime achievements.
Speaking at the event, Madam Shirley Irene Thompson thanked the organisers of the Humanitarian Awards Global for recognizing her works.
She said the recognition will go a long way in encouraging youth to emulate change makers.
Meanwhile, she urged each and everyone to continue to impacts lives in their little way that they can.
Madam Shirley Irene Thompson noted that Mamaitaly Charity Foundation helps the needy, aged, children, orphans, widows, people with disabilities, empower women with skills training so they get another source of income to cater for themselves and their family as a whole.
Since she started the Foundation in 2016 it has reached over billions of people through various initiatives including free empowerment skills training on soaps, detergents, washing powder, bridal fan and bouquet, brown sugar, earrings, body creams and hair care products, yoghurt and drinks making, and many more and other events to build young people’s excitement and engagement around entrepreneurship.
The organizers of this Humanitarian Awards Global stands to celebrate and recognize NGOs, volunteers leaders, donors, organizations, philanthropist, corporations and professionals in advancing the important work of humanity and making a difference in the lives of people in their localities and across the globe.
They also disclosed that the award is to recognize and celebrate world heroes who without capes have changed and are still changing the communities and impacting lives and environment.
“We believe that in putting the spotlight on these humanitarian efforts will not only celebrate them but help build a strong platform for them by giving voice and opportunities to the next generation of industry pacesetters while building a positive attitude”. They noted.
